In November 2017, the Indianapolis community was shaken by the violent death of 39-year-old Hispanic male Nemesio Garcia, also identified in records as Nemecio Garcia Mondragon. Born in Ciudad Hidalgo, Michoacán, Mexico, to parents Moises Garcia Segura and Maria Mondragon Soto, he had established a life in Indianapolis where he was raising a family.
