Death by Force

On October 17, 2021, Monesha McKinley, a 25-year-old resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, was found dead on the city's near-east side. Her body was discovered just after noon in the 1000 block of North Rural Street. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) responded to the scene and initiated a death investigation. According to the Marion County Coroner's Office, McKinley had sustained at least one gunshot wound, and her death was ruled a homicide.
