Lorin M. Yelle, a 43-year-old male, tragically lost his life on April 4, 2022, in a senseless act of violence at a gas station in New Albany, Indiana. He was an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire of a domestic dispute that escalated to a double homicide. That day, Cherok Ameer Douglass fatally shot his 38-year-old wife, Brandee Kay Douglass, before turning his weapon on Yelle, who was simply a customer at the gas station walking to his vehicle.
