Rosa Mirian Rivera de Pineda, aged 37, tragically lost her life on July 17, 2022, during a mass shooting at the Greenwood Park Mall in Greenwood, Indiana. The incident occurred in the food court of the mall, where Rosa and her husband, Pedro Pineda, were having dinner. The shooter, identified as 20-year-old Jonathan Douglas Sapirman, opened fire, killing Rosa, Pedro, and another victim, Victor Gomez. The autopsies revealed that all three victims died due to multiple gunshot wounds.
