Edna Belle Dunlap Brown, 46, female, was killed on January 9, 1954, in the kitchen of her daughter’s home on Old Telegraph Road near Alexandria. She was shot with a 16-gauge shotgun and died alongside her 25-year-old daughter, Lorraine Evelyn Brown Schultz. The attack unfolded inside the family home and ended both women’s lives within moments.
