Mario Reyes, a 41-year-old male from Chicago, Illinois, was fatally shot outside a tavern in the Little Village neighborhood on February 10, 2007. The incident occurred around 12:20 a.m. when Reyes and a 37-year-old male friend were conversing on the sidewalk near the establishment at 2501 S. Drake Ave. A small gray vehicle approached, and one of the passengers exited, brandishing a handgun.
