In the winter of 1988, a tragedy unfolded at the Atlantic Shores Christian Academy in Virginia Beach, Virginia, forever altering the lives of many. On December 16th, a 15-year-old student named Nicholas Elliott entered the school armed with a Cobray M-11 pistol. Inside, he opened fire, tragically cutting short the life of teacher Karen Farley.
