On October 13, 2017, 21-year-old Rahman Newsome was shot and killed in Fresno, California. The incident occurred in the early evening near Normal Avenue and Mayfair Drive, where an unidentified suspect fired multiple shots from a vehicle as they drove by. Newsome, who was walking at the time, was found lying in the roadway by responding officers.
