Sara Castromata, a 19-year-old Marine Lance Corporal, tragically lost her life on March 21, 2013, in a shooting incident at the Marine Corps Base in Quantico, Virginia. Castromata, originally from Oakley, California, was serving as a warehouse clerk at the base. She was one of three Marines who died in what was later identified as a double murder-suicide.
