In the spring of 2013, the life of 19-year-old Lance Corporal Sara Castromata, a vibrant and dedicated Marine, was tragically cut short in a violent incident at Marine Corps Base Quantico in Virginia. On the evening of March 21, 2013, Castromata, who served as a warehouse clerk, was fatally shot inside a barracks building on the base.
