Sonny James Turner, aged 44, tragically passed away on April 26, 2013, in Bassett, Virginia. Born on May 12, 1968, in South Carolina, Sonny was known to his friends and family as "Bug." He was the son of the late Sonny Blankenship and Lucy Jean Turner. Sonny is survived by his two daughters, Ashley Henderson and Tammy Sizemore, his son, James Turner, and several grandchildren. His death was a significant loss to his family and the community.
