On the evening of April 17, 2021, a 24-year-old male named Kaleb Tremaine Greene was fatally shot at a residence on Jarrett Drive in Bassett, Virginia. The Martinsville-Henry County Emergency 911 Center received a call about the shooting at approximately 8:42 pm. When deputies arrived at the scene, they found the suspect, Isaiah Jeremiah Dillard, outside the home and took him into custody without incident.
