On May 28, 2007, Joseph Davis, a 29-year-old African American individual from Chicago, Illinois, was fatally shot. The incident occurred in the 700 block of North Central Park Avenue in the East Garfield Park neighborhood. According to police reports, Joseph Davis was found with multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
