Eric N. Wilkins Jr., a 22-year-old Virginia State University student, tragically lost his life on November 21, 2013. He was shot and killed in front of a university apartment complex near the campus in Ettrick, Virginia. The incident occurred late at night, and Wilkins was found dead at the scene shortly after 11:30 p.m. from a gunshot wound.
