Claranett Cooley, 32, was last seen on the morning of May 14, 1993, at her apartment in Lake Wales, Florida. According to her live-in boyfriend, they had argued the night before but reconciled by the morning. He claimed to have left the apartment around 8:00 a.m. to visit his mother, and when he returned an hour later, Claranett was gone.
