Griffin Palmer, a 17-year-old from Glade Spring, Virginia, tragically lost his life on February 25, 2014, in a horrific domestic shooting. The incident, which also claimed the lives of his mother, Kristin Palmer, and his grandmother, Nancy Griffin, was perpetrated by his father, Kevin Palmer. The family had been embroiled in a long-standing domestic dispute that culminated in this tragic event.
