On an April evening in 2014, the life of 33-year-old Ebony Naomi Hurd was tragically cut short in Richmond, Virginia. The Black/African American female was discovered in a vehicle in the 2100 block of Mimosa Street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Alongside her was Ivan Tyree Bridges, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Emergency responders rushed Hurd to a nearby hospital, but she ultimately succumbed to her injuries on April 23, 2014.
