Nathanial Adam Ayres, a 19-year-old from Nelsonia, Virginia, tragically lost his life on August 12, 2016, as a result of gunshot wounds. The incident occurred near the intersection of Nocks Landing Road and Greta Road in Atlantic, Virginia. The circumstances surrounding his death were linked to a drug dispute. On the night of the incident, Ayres, along with two friends, Noah Mackey and Jeremiah Thompson, planned to meet Zachary Townsend to purchase marijuana.
