John Wesley Staples II, aged 40, was tragically killed on December 6, 2017, in Gladys, Virginia. The incident occurred at his home on Collins Ferry Road, where he was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds. The Campbell County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a shooting around 9:40 p.m. and discovered Staples' body upon arrival.
