In the spring of 2018, the life of a young Chantilly, Virginia man came to a tragic and mysterious end. Twenty-six-year-old James Daniel McDonald was last seen by a family member on May 15, 2018. When days passed with no word from him, his family grew concerned and reported him missing on May 19. The search for McDonald led investigators to a wooded area in the 6100 block of Union Village Drive in Clifton, Virginia. It was there, on May 21, that his body was discovered.
