Jacob Steele Robertson, a 27-year-old resident of Blairs, Virginia, tragically lost his life on January 8, 2019, in a road rage incident that escalated into a fatal shooting. The incident occurred at the Kangaroo gas station off Route 29 in Blairs. According to investigators, the altercation began when James Roland Hooper, III, claimed that Robertson had run him off the road.
