Sherman Lydell Lane, a 40-year-old resident of Virginia Beach, Virginia, tragically lost his life on October 5, 2019. Lane was fatally shot in the early hours of the morning at the Atlantis Apartments on Atlantis Drive. Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene, but despite their efforts, Lane was pronounced dead shortly after their arrival.
