DeVon A. Lyles, a 22-year-old resident of Richmond, Virginia, tragically lost his life on October 6, 2019, in a shooting incident that occurred in the Shockoe Bottom area. According to reports, officers responded to the 1700 block of East Broad Street around 2:37 a.m. after hearing gunshots. Upon arrival, they discovered Lyles suffering from gunshot wounds.
