K-Ron Jahlin Nehemiah Surratt, a 14-year-old boy from Emporia, Virginia, tragically lost his life on September 5, 2020. K-Ron was born on March 28, 2006, in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and moved to Emporia in 2017 with his family. He was a student at E.W. Wyatt Middle School and had just been promoted to the ninth grade. K-Ron was known for his love of school and church, and he was cherished by his family and friends.
