In the late hours of a Saturday night in Roanoke, Virginia, the life of 29-year-old De’Andre Kasey was irrevocably altered. On April 3, 2021, in the 100 block of Campbell Avenue SE, gunfire erupted, leaving Kasey with grave injuries. He was rushed to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for medical attention.
