Floyd Lee James Jr., aged 44, tragically lost his life on July 23, 2021, in Yorktown, Virginia. The incident occurred during a custody exchange at a small trailer park located on George Washington Memorial Highway. According to reports, Floyd was shot multiple times by Adrian Vonshae Pope, who was the ex-partner of Floyd's girlfriend and the father of her child. The shooting also resulted in a non-life-threatening injury to Pope's four-year-old son.
