On a summer evening in Yorktown, Virginia, the life of 44-year-old Floyd Lee James Jr. was tragically cut short. On Friday, July 23, 2021, law enforcement responded to reports of gunfire in the 2900 block of George Washington Memorial Highway. Upon arrival, they discovered a violent scene where two individuals had been shot.
