In the late hours of October 30, 2024, the community of Yorktown, Virginia, was shaken by an act of violence that claimed the life of 19-year-old Elysiah A. Lee-Jordan. The fatal incident unfolded just before midnight at the Yorktown Square Apartments, located in the 200 block of Barham Boulevard. Lee-Jordan was discovered by deputies from the York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office with two gunshot wounds.
