Gary McMiller, a 38-year-old resident of Vinton, Virginia, tragically lost his life on October 11, 2021. The incident occurred at a McDonald's located on Hardy Road in Vinton. According to reports, McMiller was shot in the parking lot of the establishment around 9:30 p.m. on that fateful night. He was found inside the McDonald's with a gunshot wound and was immediately transported to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for treatment.
