In the Highland Park neighborhood of Richmond, Virginia, on the late morning of December 2, 2021, 31-year-old Naquan Fuller, a Black male, was fatally shot. The incident occurred in the 2100 block of Third Avenue, where Richmond police officers responded to a report of gunfire just after 11 a.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr. Fuller on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound.
