In the quiet Ashburn, Virginia, community, Najat Chemlali Goode, a 57-year-old single mother, was leading a life marked by hard work and dedication to her two children. An accountant who had moved to Virginia from Casablanca, Morocco, in the early 1980s, she was known for her generosity, kindness, and intelligence, fluently speaking Arabic, English, and French. Her life, however, came to a violent and tragic end on the evening of December 30, 2021.
