In the early morning hours of August 15, 2022, the life of 18-year-old Skyler Ann Merenda was tragically cut short in a violent home invasion in Gloucester, Virginia. The incident occurred at a residence on Bufflehead Drive where Merenda and her boyfriend were staying. During the invasion, Merenda was fatally shot, and a 20-year-old man, identified as her boyfriend Ramel Wilson, was also wounded, suffering a gunshot to the leg.
