Edwin Lee Burgess, Jr., a 23-year-old resident of Glen Allen, Virginia, tragically lost his life on the night of September 7, 2022. Burgess was found with apparent gunshot wounds at the Hope Village apartment complex located on the 1600 block of Hope Road in Henrico County. The Henrico County Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 10:45 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Burgess outside one of the residences, where he was pronounced dead at the scene.
