On June 3, 2024, at approximately 8:08 a.m., Henrico Police responded to a reported domestic disturbance in the 1600 block of Hope Road in Henrico County, Virginia. As officers were en route, the caller reported a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male with an apparent gunshot wound in a yard. The victim, identified as Marquez Rashard Taylor, a 31-year-old from Glen Allen, was pronounced dead at the scene.
