In the early morning hours of June 3, 2024, a domestic disturbance call led Henrico Police to the 1600 block of Hope Road in a quiet neighborhood in Glen Allen, Virginia. As officers were on their way, the situation escalated dramatically when the caller reported a shooting. Upon their arrival at approximately 8:08 a.m., they discovered the body of 31-year-old Marquez Rashard Taylor in a yard, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
