What happened to Savana?
On October 22, 2020, 27-year-old Savana Lee Burger was last seen in Pine Grove, California. She was reported missing by her mother the following day after failing to attend an important court date. Nearly three months later, on January 16, 2021, her remains were discovered near West Point, California. He is being held in Washoe County while awaiting extradition to Amador County.
The investigation into Savana Burger's murder also resulted in charges against Linda Beenam and Patricia Adams, who were accused of helping Jerry Adams evade capture. Authorities worked with multiple agencies, including the Amador County Sheriff's Office and Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office, using search and rescue teams, cadaver dogs, and other resources to locate Burger's remains and gather evidence related to the crime.
The case has highlighted some of the complexities and challenges that law enforcement faces in cases involving missing persons and suspected foul play. It also underscores the significant role that the community plays in providing tips that can lead to arrests.
