In the early hours of a Tuesday morning in Jersey City, the life of 20-year-old Rondell Fairley was tragically cut short. On November 17, 2015, Fairley was found on the ground at the corner of Ocean and Cator Avenues, having sustained a gunshot wound to his upper body. The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office confirmed that he was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after police arrived around 1:30 a.m. This incident marked the 19th homicide in Jersey City that year.
