In the early morning hours of a Tuesday in Jersey City, New Jersey, the quiet of a Summit Avenue home was shattered by the sound of gunshots, leading to a tragic discovery. Police responded to a 911 call on June 14, 2016, and upon entering the residence, they found the bodies of 44-year-old Monica L. Haddad, a white female, and her husband. Both had sustained fatal gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene, leaving a community in shock and searching for answers.
