In the early morning hours of July 21, 2016, the life of 28-year-old Javon Murray was tragically cut short on a street in Jersey City. At approximately 2:45 a.m., Murray was discovered on Clinton Avenue, having sustained a single, fatal gunshot wound. The bullet entered the back of his neck and exited through his cheek. He was pronounced dead at the scene just five minutes after being found.
