In the early hours of a Sunday in December 2016, the West Ward of Newark was disturbed by the sound of gunfire that would ultimately claim the life of 19-year-old Shahire Williamson. The shooting occurred on North Munn Avenue, near the Bradley Court Housing complex, leaving another man critically injured and a community searching for answers.
