On a Saturday afternoon in March 2017, the life of 17-year-old Raquan Boundurant of Irvington, New Jersey, was tragically cut short. The young man was discovered on Rose Street, near Bergen Street in Newark, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The incident occurred at approximately 2:30 p.m., a time when the neighborhood would have been going about its weekend activities.
