On what was supposed to be a night of celebration, a senseless act of violence cut short the life of 70-year-old Mary Ann Schulz. It was New Year's Eve, December 31, 2017, in Long Branch, New Jersey, and Schulz was ringing in the new year with her long-time companion, Adrian Kologi, and his family. The festive atmosphere in the Wall Street home was shattered when Adrian's 16-year-old grandson allegedly opened fire with a semi-automatic rifle, killing four people.
