Kamal McCord, a 19-year-old Black / African American man from Jersey City, New Jersey, lost his life to gun violence on the night of May 2, 2018, after gunfire rang out along Merseles Court. Around 9:50 p.m., police were called to the block with a report of a male who had been shot.
