In the early moments of a Thursday morning, the sound of gunfire pierced the air in the 1300 block of Baltic Avenue in Atlantic City. Responding to a ShotSpotter alert just after midnight on August 25, 2022, police discovered the body of 31-year-old Jordan Eaddy, a male from Philadelphia, who had been fatally shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Less than a week before his death, Eaddy had been arrested in Absecon for driving a stolen vehicle and had been released on a summons.
