In the late hours of a Sunday evening in Camden, New Jersey, the sound of gunfire shattered the peace on Diamond Street. On October 2, 2022, authorities received a 911 call around 11:20 PM reporting multiple gunshots in the area of the 1000 block. Shortly thereafter, another call came in about a man who had been shot. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered one man suffering from a gunshot wound and he was immediately transported to Cooper University Hospital for medical attention.
