On January 17, 1961, in Grand Blanc, Michigan, 37-year-old Janet E. Rasmussen Clark tragically lost her life to gun violence. This devastating incident also claimed the lives of her four children: Karl Clark, age 12; Kathleen Clark, age 11; Kurt Clark, age 8; and Karen Clark, age 6.
Janet was born in 1923 and was married to Thomas Clark, who passed away in 1955. Their children were born between 1948 and 1954. The family resided in Grand Blanc, where the tragic events unfolded.
