In the predawn hours of April 30, 2003, Tamara Greene, a 27-year-old mother of three, was sitting in her car with her boyfriend on Roselawn Street near West Outer Drive in Detroit when a white SUV pulled alongside them. A hail of bullets shattered the early morning quiet, striking Greene multiple times. Her boyfriend was also wounded but survived the attack.
