Marquis Gresham, a 17-year-old high school basketball player from Muskegon Heights, Michigan, tragically lost his life on April 23, 2014. Gresham was walking with friends to a sports banquet when he was caught in the crossfire of a drive-by shooting. The incident occurred on 5th Street, and Gresham, who was a standout player on the Muskegon Heights High School basketball team, was fatally wounded.
