In the summer of 2016, the life of 17-year-old Alerio Wilson was tragically cut short. A Black male, Wilson was fatally shot on the morning of June 27, 2016, at a gas station in Mt. Morris Township, Michigan. He was rushed to Hurley Medical Center, but tragically succumbed to his injuries.
