Marissa Joy Edmunds, a 25-year-old resident of Ypsilanti, Michigan, tragically lost her life on January 11, 2018. She was fatally shot in the head during a robbery at the University Green Apartments in Ypsilanti. The incident also left her boyfriend critically injured. The robbery involved multiple victims, and the assailants targeted them for their valuables.
