Richard Cody Skillman, a 21-year-old from Merrill, Michigan, tragically passed away on January 19, 2018. The incident occurred during a celebration of his friend Zachary Woodcock's 21st birthday. According to reports, the two friends were at Woodcock's apartment in Merrill when the tragic accident happened. Woodcock, who had been celebrating with friends, retrieved a handgun from his bedroom.
