In the quiet of a late February night in Southfield, Michigan, a tragedy unfolded that cut short the life of Dana Brye, a 46-year-old woman known for her kind and caring nature. On February 27, 2018, in what should have been the safety of her own apartment complex, Dana was ambushed by her ex-husband, Avery Brye, aged 53. That evening, as Dana was returning to her
