Austin Scott Reinhardt was a 23-year-old Black/African American man whose life ended in a shooting in Pontiac, Michigan, on the afternoon of May 3, 2018. Reinhardt was at a friend's home at 249 High Street with his girlfriend, Kae-Milee Serna, when a confrontation developed that prosecutors would later say involved Pontiac resident DeMarcus Allen-Troy Miles. Evidence and testimony presented in court indicated there had been tension between Reinhardt and Miles before that day. Serna testified tha ...
